Afghan YUM!!

Dining with Friends saw 23 Newport Probians meet at Sarhar in Newport for a wonderful feast of Afghan food and hospitality. The ambiance was wonderful. The food was plentiful and so delicious. The service was exemplary. As always, the conversation and bonhommie excelled.

We had bookd out most of the inside area of Sarhar. Still, the service was excellent. Hot dishes arrived togather and hot. Plates were served and then cleared efficiently. All the logistics worked well even with our large group. Most importantly, the food was excellent - so delicious - spciy but not hot.

If you have not yet joined in our "Dining with Friends" evening or lunches, you should do so. It's a great way to get to know your fellow Probians over a great meal (and the odd drink or so).
