Dinner with Friends at Berempah, Newport

Our November Dinner with Friends was at the new Malaysian Fusion restaurant in Newport. Over 30 members enjoyed a generous feast of Malaysian food at Berempah, in very comfortable surroundings. The entrees were delicious, with the duck pancakes my favourite. As is common with Malay dishes, the ‘incidence’ of chilli in some of the main courses was quite high but there are dishes for those who prefer their food less spicy.

The company was, as usual, cheerful and definitely up for an enjoyable evening.

Judy and I are taking a short break until the 4th Wednesday in February. We have a few venues in mind but would certainly value suggestions of enjoyable eateries from members.
