Golf Returns to Normal

14th October 2021

COVID-19 regulations have had quite an impact, stopping many activities. Howeber our golfers were able to continue playing whilst obeying regulations set by both the state gov't and the Australian Golf Union. For much of the lockdown period, no foursomes were allowed, there were no rakes in bunkers, flags had to be left in the hole, players had to wear masks until they teed off, then put those masks back on as soon as they finished a round. Players also had to leave the golf course promptly upon finishing a round so ... no socialising.

With lockdown over, our Probus golf returned to close to normality with play at Mona Vale. The round started in sunny, warm weather but finished with players barely getting into the clubhouse ahead of a heavy thunderstorm.
